If you are one of the few who doesn’t know Kim Kimble by name, I guarantee you know her work. This 20-year veteran hairstylist and coif master to the stars is responsible for some of the most iconic looks by some of the biggest celebrities. From Beyoncé’s high concept hairstyles, to Shakira’s mane moments, to the late Whitney Houston’s classic tresses, to the colossal-sized Afro wig she designed for Oprah Winfrey for the cover of O Magazine, Kimble has really done it all.
But Kimble has also expanded her brand outside of the salon to include TV. She previously designed hair looks for the show Moesha and TV movie Cinderella. She now stars in the reality docuseries L.A. Hair which airs on WE tv. As far as film goes, she’s currently doing hair work for the Ava DuVernay directed movie A Wrinkle in Time, starring Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling, which is due to hit theaters come 2018.
